Clinical Psychologist



Kathleen Wright is a Clinical Psychologist. She’s trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based therapies, cognitive processing therapy, and clinical hypnosis. 

Kathleen specialises in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and general stresses that come with modern life, offering assessments for ADHD in adults, with clinic hypnosis available as a treatment tool.

Kathleen’s warm, calm and empathetic manner is paired with an evidence-based approach. Recovery, self-understanding, and acceptance are journeys that Kathleen helps support.

Prior to moving to GoodHub, Kathleen worked at a private practice, COGNITION, and in a research role for SAHMRI’s Health Policy Centre, and has been cited in various published peer-reviewed scientific studies.

Her PhD study was a randomised controlled trial of a mindfulness-based therapy for upper primary school age children, to determine whether it
would be beneficial for symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Prior to becoming a psychologist, Kathleen worked for 10 years in brand management roles in Australia and the UK.
